Lava tablet to come with Android 4.2, 1.5GHz processor, 1GB RAM, 2MP camera
Lava is on smart-phone and tablet launching spree these days. It seems to be in a hurry to play catch up game with another Indian smart-phone and tablet manufacturer Micromax that has claimed that it has sold more than one million units of its Canvas line of smart-phones in the Indian market.
But Lava is also not ignoring equally profitable tablet market that is expanding at breakneck speed in the country. Now there are reports that Lava is launching a really great tablet in the market with Android 4.2 Jelly Bean out of the box and great specifications. This will be among the first tablets in the market from any Indian smart-phone and tablet manufacturer that will come with Android Jelly Bean out of the box. The recently launched HP Slate 7, another reasonably priced tablet still comes with Android 4.1 Jelly Bean, an older version of Google’s mobile operating system.
This proves beyond doubt that Lava that launched first Intel smart-phone not just in India but across the world hasn’t lost the touch with innovation and improvements. The price of Micromax A72 Canvas Viva has now dropped by Rs 150. After its launch this is the first time when the phone is available at less than its official price of Rs 6499.
