Uttarakhand flood: BSNL tracks last location of missing

Uttarakhand flood: BSNL has launched a special service to track the last location of its users who went missing after the flash floods.

"The subscriber's BSNL number should be sent by SMS with his/her name," said an official.

BSNL users in Uttarakhand can send the SMS to 1503, while other network subscribers can contact 09412024365.

How to Disable USB port to regedit ?

With this trick, you can disable access to your USB(Universal Serial Bus) ports in your Windows based PC to prevent people from taking out data from your personal computer without permission or spreading viruses through the use of USB(pen and flash) drives.

To use this trick to disable USB ports, follow the steps given below:-

1. Click on Start.
2. Click on Run. If you cannot find RUN, type it in the search box.
3. Type "regedit" without quotes. This will launch the Registry Editor.
4. Navigate to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\usbstor.
5. In the work area, double click on Start.
6. In the Value Data box, enter 4.
7. Click on OK.
8. Close Registry Editor and refresh your desktop.
9. To re-enable access to your USB ports, enter 3 in the Value Data box in Step 6.

Try it yourself to make your PC invulnerable from data theft and malware which spread through USB ports. This works on Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 7 and Windows 8.
Note: This trick also disables access to your USB connected peripheral devices. So, do not use it if you have USB connected keyboard and mouse.

Watching Youtube videos is second nature to most Internet users, which is why if you are an avid Youtube fan, you really should know about these Youtube shortcuts. This quicktip will share with you shortcuts that give you better control over the videos you watch on Youtube.
1. Skipping Parts of a video
Almost every video you see starts with some random or irrelevant scene or introduction, so it’s only natural to hurry the video along by clicking on the time slider bar. Here’s how to do it without mouseclicks or the touchpad.
You can skip part of a video by pressing the numbers on your keyboard: skip videos at 10%, with button number 1, or 9 for 90%. The numbers do not refer to the minutes in the video, so if you want to start halfway, press 5 for 50%.
Note that this will not work when the video is already playing, although putting the video on pause rectifies this. Pressing button 0 on your keyboard will bring you back to minute 0:00 of the video.
2. Tab to Select Tool Options
The Tab key is useful if you don’t want to navigate with the mouse. In YouTube, the Tab key lets the user highlight tool options such as those listed below. Just press Enter or Space to execute.
Watch Later
Seek Bar – Press any number between 1 to 9 to skip parts of the video.
Play or Pause
Volume Control – Press up / down arrow keys to control.
Change Quality – Press Enter or Space to execute, then press Tab key again to select quality.
